Fondo di Toscana® Grilled Long Stem Artichokes with Herbs
Along the Mediterranean Sea of Tuscany, Lazio, and Ligurio, south to Sicilia and Sardegna, you'll find one of the richest cultivated artichoke producing regions in the world. Planted in the fall and spring, the artichoke harvest begins in early October for the early cultivation and ends in late June for the second crop. Our producer in this region of Italy exclusively produces these artichokes, marinated in the lightest of sunflower oil and regional wine vinegar and seasoned with aromatic herbs. Enjoy as an accompaniment to grilled meat or fish or try in antipastos and salads or enjoy by themselves as an appetizer.
